The House of David Baseball Team Project team members are consistently researching this topic to evaluate players and teams for legitimacy. Many teams have played under the name of the House of David, but were neither part of, or sanctioned by either of the religious colonies. One fake team was sued in 1934 and continued to send out teams until the 1950's. The research team has put together comprehensive information about the House of David teams by using uniform designations. Here is some of that research.
